Step 1.
Register
Before participating in auctions on BidATyre, all users are required to complete a simple registration process. This involves providing basic contact information, verifying your identity using a valid South African ID or Passport number, and awaiting approval from the BidATyre team.
Why Registration is Necessary:
The registration process ensures that all bidders are legitimate, traceable, and eligible to participate in tyre auctions. It helps us maintain a secure and trustworthy platform by preventing fraudulent activity, protecting sellers, and ensuring that successful bidders can be contacted and held accountable for payment and collection of goods.
You will receive an email, sent to the email address specified during the registration process. This email contains a link, which you need to click, to verify your email address and approve your registration.
Once this is done, you’re ready to BID. WIN. ROLL !
Step 2.
Log in
Click on the “Login” button on the Homepage or the “Login” menu option in the top right corner of the page.
On successful login the Homepage will display a catalog of current and upcoming auctions. Clicking on any of these auction cards will redirect you to the Main Auctions Page for that Lot allowing you to see more details about the Auction.
You can also click on the “Auctions” menu option in the top right corner of the page.
Step 3.
Current and Upcoming Auctions
Before proceeding to any information regarding an Auction, you will be prompted to acknowledge the Terms and Conditions of participating in a BidATyre auction.
Why this is important:
Acknowledging the “Terms and Conditions” ensures that all users understand the rules of bidding, payment, and collection on the BidATyre platform. It protects both buyers and sellers by setting clear expectations and legal boundaries. By agreeing to the terms, users accept responsibility for their bids and help maintain a fair, transparent, and secure auction environment.
You can view the “Terms and Conditions” by clicking on the menu option at the top of the page.
By clicking the “Yes I Accept” button, before viewing details about an auction, is an acknowledgement that you’ve read the T’s and C’s and you fully understand them.
